how to query Web Configuration settings for sessionState?

Posted By: Ramesh     Posted Date: May 28, 2010    Points:2   Category :ASP.Net
I know how to configure sessionState in the central Web.Config. I would like to know if there is a way to query that setting (normally not needed, but sometimes useful for diagnostic purposes).

(this would be analogous, e.g., to ConfigurationManager.AppSettings.AllKeys etc.)

Regards,
Ramesh

Hi,

You can use HttpContext.Current.Session to get session info like..

HttpContext.Current.Session.Mode
HttpContext.Current.Session.CookieMode

hope it helps.
