.mdf files

Is it possible to generate .mdf files using sqlserver 2000? If so how to generate them?

HI,

Yea you can.. Once you create a database in SQL Server it will automatically generate .MDF and .LDF file for you. SO its not necessary manually.

Create Database In Sql Server 2000....What ever the Procedure U Know---Weather it is with Query or With UI

Now Open C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\MSSQL\Data Folder

Now Ur able To See The .mdf Files total Available in Sql Server
