.msi Problem

hi,all

i developed .msi file in VS2008(.NET 3.5 Framework).When i tried to install that .msi in Win XP ,setup was working Fine but when i am targeting to Vista Or Windows-7 it was not at all working fine

Note:Set up gets installing but --The Time i tried to open that Shortcut of the Setup...it was not opening

Could u any body please Suggest Remedy for This Problem

Hi,

Did you tried installing with right click "Run As Administrator " ? It works in administrator mode?

Hi,Amit That is Not My Problem Exactly

I am able To Install But ,the time i am opening that exe or shortcut of the .exe after installation ..it was not opening

Hi BangaruBabuPureti,

I agree that installation process successfully. Why I am asking is if you dont do run as administator than some of the file may not be copied or some of the com component may not be register and a result you can run by clicking the exe.
