how to maintain state of checkbox on reload of page

hi in my page i want to maintain the state of checkbox on reload
i.e. if checkbox is checked on reload it should be checked.

so how can i do it.. shall i use asp checkbox or html check box

make sure you have made the AutoPostBack Property of check box to true ..

and if you programatically changing the state you should code like below

if(!IsPostback)
{
checkbox1.Checked = true;
}
