Why no EXE File for ASP.NET applications

Hi frnds...

Normally all programs has exe file for starting program.

but in ASP.NET applications we dont see any EXE file generated why?

Is that Our Presentation layer is treated as Entry Point or any other reason?

plse explain me in detail

Hi Pooja

.NET Framework is a network Enabled Technology.It is used to develope stand alone applications as well as distibuted applications.

In order to work with Stand alone apps(Windows As well as Console) the OUT Put is .EXE file

In the Case of Distibuted apps(Website or Webservices) we got the out put as Compiled HTML (Understandable to Browsers)

.exe will not distributed until unless it is Remoted
